Finished My (first?) Novel

I finished it last Monday at about 9.30pm. By 10.30pm I was tipsy on a chilled bottle of Moet...about 12 hours later, I published the novel on lulu.com/uk. I love this digital world we lurk in.

Loads of folks have asked for the link to buy a copy, but I need to run the novel by a few people first. If you're truly madly freakishly interested, email me with the subject 'Novel pre-order' in the subject line, and I'll email you a link when it's ready to go...

Anyway. Loving the feeling of accomplishment I've got from finishing the bloody thing. 70,000 words in 30 days in November 2006, then three years to get the next 30,000 down. Guess the lesson from that is the next time I want to write, I should take three months out from work and just do it.

Strangely, this feels like the end of this blog. End of an era. I'll probably pull it down when I get a few hours to myself and stick up a twitter feed instead.

I guess that would be a sign of the times.
