Big Beardy Bucko Cup and Irish Web Awards

So. Not a bad weekend for Tír Eoghain. First our beardy buckos got off their bus and belted their way to the Sam Maguire.

Second, my Liquid e-learning blog got longlisted for two Irish Web Awards (best education website and best technology website), which is amazing.

Of course, more of Tír Eoghain seem to be celebrating the bucko's achievement than mine, and rightly so. What a match. Me and my friend Tina texted each other afterwards, and we both agreed there's something about a raw GAA game with big hairy buckos belting balls about that makes you feel all girly. Tina's text summed it up:
